help with a raid card

Do you want speed or just the security of raid cos £200 isnt much.

dont no much about raid cards but what i was wonting to do is get 8x 2TB Drives and have 4 for my storage and the other 4 to mirrier them
as for speed whel just now i have my drives all as singal drive and to copy a 350mb video file from my main pc to the server it just takes about 7-8 seconds to copy to the drive i noticed i get the speed
about 85 to 120 sec speeds with server 2008
but need security more cand aford to lose my files
probily will go with raid 5
if i cant get find an ok raid card ges i will just stick with having all the drives in singal mode and use a program do sync one drive to another when not in use
i found this card dont no how good it will be scan.uk

suppose i could go to about £250-270 max
