HELP!!! Vista Boot Manager... PROBLEM!!!

SuB

The Webmaster
ok setting the story, i go away for a day, come back and the computer is showing the 'vista boot manage' with windows vista and memory diagnostic as the options, i try vista, system boot loops, back to said screen..

ok.. its warm in here..

turn pc off, leave it come back turn on, same screen, ok try vista, vista boots, yey.. what was wrong half an hour later bsod.. great

its been TOTALLY fine until i installed sp1.. thus i got into it and uninstalled that

however.. the problem remains every time it boots i get the vista boot manager thing come up asking me to run the memory diagnostic...

so i do..

and still it stays there..

anyway i looked up the bcdedit stuff and managed to remove the memory diagnostic thing as an option cuz i figured it would go away. it hasn't

so now.. i'm stuck with this stupid frigging boot manager asking me if i want to boot into vista?!!? wtf?

how the hell do i get rid of it!?

whats the command :(

mine did this before, it turned out being some chipset drivers. I cant remember if i got the same BSOD message though. Try booting into safe mode? and updating all drivers.

Mine would boot then BSOD then no tboot for a few minutes.. then ide be playing a game 20 minutes later and it would BSOD again..

Maybe a RAM stick has come loose?

hmm maybe but my primary question is how do u turn off the boot manager thing :(

its randomly stopped doing it :S but its still BSOD'ing alot atm :( not impressed

i tried the restore thing but not tried the repair, is that like the old xp repair-install?

ok, so i try to install then hit a repair button somewhere along the way?

*sigh*

oh your on msn i'll jump on you on there *cough*
