I`m guessing they`re stuck on it being a traditional mouse idea and not a trackball-esq design ?

Yeah I expect so, seeing as trackballs are pretty poor for gaming unless you've managed to master one

is there? i was under the impression most didnt know how to use a pc :p

There's more of us than you think.... We're just biding our time until we strike out against all you haters!!!

That said I use the mouse in my right hand same as most lefties I know.

all I ask is dont forget there are left handers out there!!!!

Lefties Unite :worship:

I've adpated to my Microsoft Habu mouse pretty well though, I click the "thumb buttons" with my ring finger and works pretty well!

:p

I know its hard given that the OC3D culture is to talk about whatever where-ever we feel like it, but If we can keep this thread free from banter (so that Evo-g dont have to wade thru pages of our usual nonsense) it'd be much appreciated :)

That`s the thing, they aren`t out there being used in order to master them. Use em for years and u`d never go back to Mr Mouse. Gaming or otherwize.

7. Be cool to see "ground effects" for a mouse. Just LEDs wrapped around the bottom edges of the mouse so there is a slight glow all around it. Or maybe i'm weird :D

1. How many buttons?

c) Other (specify) 3 + 2 on the side as usual, but also a couple more, maybe on the side or in front and behind the scroll wheel.

2. What DPI?

c) 1800, 800, 400 adjustable

3. Engine

b) Laser

4. Software & Drivers

a) Yes, mouse is provided with software package and drivers

5. Weight

b) Adjustable weight

6. Ergonomic Shape

a) Yes

7. Lighting Effects

c) Other (specify): Well, i don't mind lighting, as long as it's not too bright or distracting. A light glow looks good, but piercing high powered LEDs put me off.
