hi, could anyone advise me what 34" widescreen to buy for gaming. i have around £500 - £600 budget. Any thoughts and help would be appreciated, thank you

What kind of games are you interested in? GPU is important too if considering Freesync/Gysnc options.
Dell Ultrasharp 34" U3415W or there's an AOC U3477 as well. LG make a couple of good ones in that price range depending on which features you really need. From memory LG make the panels for AOC and possibly Dell.

Do some research into them. There may be features you need that they do/don't have. VESA mounts etc. Looks may be important - or not.
There's plenty of reviews on YouTube. Chrazey on this forum I think has the Dell so have a look at that thread if you can find it using the search tool at at the top of the forums.

Just checked and they're both a little over your budget sorry. I must have looked at a tax free price. (i'm in Aus sorry)
The LG UM95 (there are two models) are both flat screen and have been out a while but still good. The UC 97 is 20 quid over budget but may be viable. The AOC is within your range so check to see what the quality is like. I've not seen too many negative reviews.

thanks again just been doing some checking, the dell is out of my price range as it is £600+ but i will check out the other 2 models. cosmetics and looks mean nothing to me as long as the monitor performs well, thanks again for your help

Ah yeah I noticed that and edited my post. Good luck I've been looking for ages but in no real hurry atm. Hopefully the Swift and Predator models come down in price over the next six months. They have all the features you could want. Just ridiculous money tho!

hi, i agree with you, seen some cracking monitors which i could buy but i want to buy another gtx970oc so i can go sli, hence my budget limit, i will go on your recommendations and check those monitors out, thanks again
