yeah I'm glad. I'm running on the omega (cat 4.12) right now cause the last ones were acting up all over. im glad things are getting better now though.

Have ATi added support in their drivers for some VIA chipsets yet? My radeon was a bitch on any driver I tried and refused to start itself in Windows, I'd be blankscreened before I could even login...

Temporary fix for anyone in that situation: Install a PCI VGA card and set as the primary device in the BIOS, use Windows extended desktop crap to pull the screen over to the Radeon. You get no visual whilst booting (unless you have two monitors to plug one into the PCI card) but the damned thing will work in windows afterwards.

i heard that he loosing out on donations because alot of his drivers arent working well with the new ATI cards so not many people download from there anymore but this could still be a myth
