so my new puppy chewed threw a speaker cable on my Logitech Z506. An I'm curious is it possible to spilcing the wire back together or would be better to just forget it and get a new set up???

first use it for a noose......errr I mean leash and well ya know the puppy

then see what damage is really there I would imagine its repairable but question is how much will have to be cut out to fix it.

oh sorry its the wired that goes from the speaker to the sub woofer. (gray color plug for those for have the set up) its the rear right speaker so the cable is pretty long.

replacing it would mean replacing the whole set up. i tried to email Logitech and they were pretty much no help.

Yeah I'm still lost I don't understand why you can't replace just that one cable with some speaker wire.... Need piccies.

Also easily replaceable, I don't know the exact name for the cable but they're regular cables for audio and video, should be able to pick them up most places.

Rca cable i believe

Yup, it's an RCA cable.

Just get yourself a new cable, hack one end off, open the speaker casing up and solder the hacked off end of the cable to the speaker terminals, done.

Or yes, you could just solder the wires back together on your current cable.

Yea that's easy to fix. You wont even need to solder that. Just attache the black to black and white to white, twist, and use some wire tape.
