OK, so I Recently built my friend a gaming PC based around a i3 3220, and 7870 tahiti LE, and 8gb g.skill snipers, all hanging off a MSI z77a-g45...

For 3/4 days the PC worked without a hitch, and this morning it wouldn't boot.
We've had parts in and out of it all day, trying to get the thing to turn on, but it just wont.
We've swaped out RAM, GPUs, PSUs, everything we could... But on the CPU Power Phase LEDs, only the first one lights up (Out of 4)

His ram works in my PC, not defective.
His GPU works in my PC, not defective.
His PSU works in my PC, not defective.

Completely lost for words and what to do next x.x

Help us out please, lads QQ

Forgot to mention, we set up all the BIOS settings and everything, but the only thing we didnt do was update the BIOS...
But still, I don't see how it could have worked fine for 4 days, and then suddenly start giving problems now...

Update again, friend's just hold me that every morning the rig wouldn't boot, and taking his RAM out and putting it back in fixed the problem...
STILL Don't see how this helps anything x.x

LMFAOOO I've got another good story xDDDD

This is probably my best PC story, my 2nd would be when my PSU blew it's own cable and I RMA'd a motherboard :PPPP

So we we're clearing the CMOS, when my mate starts rubbing the PC like a genie lamp, praying it turns on xDDDD
I slapped the bottom of the floor, saying ''let the bitch know her role'' and IT TURNS ON!!!!
We have a laughing spazzz for like 10 minz, and then find out the 8-pin CPU connector on my mate's motherboard has a bad contact, and that was causing all the confusion xDDDD

If anyone want's to move this to the humor category, feel free to, since this was BLOODY Halarious ~

set xmp on the ram profile what its doing is defaulting the ram to 1.5v he probably has 1.25v ram.. only thing he can do is get different ram or try to update the bios set xmp save and reboot...

oh lolz didnt see your new post didnt think of that i could sweir we ran through all that on aria forums about checking the 8 pin etc..

I'm not a member on Aria mate :P

But as I say, we tryed my PSU in his rig, tried endless extention cables, and nothing but slapping her worked :P
