I'm a noob at tech stuff so if anyone can help me out that'll be FANTASTIC!

I have these computer specs:

And I was hoping to upgrade to the Antec 300 case with 430W PSU and a 450 GTS. Do you think the 450 would work with those computer parts? Along with the new ones of course. And if not what would you recommend for a budget gamer? And I have a 22 inch monitor at 1680x1050 mas res if that makes a difference. And I don't think I can muster up the money for a 460 GTX and like a 500W PSU.

Oh Sorry Lol.

Motherboard: M2N68-LA (Narra3)

Processor: AMD Phenom X3 8400

Memory: 4 GB

Graphics Card: Integrated nVidia6150 SE

Hard Drive: 500 Gb

PSU: 300W

Case: Mid Size ATX

I would suggest a Antec Neo Eco 520W psu to ensure it can handle the gpu at load, nvidia cards draw alot of power @ idle and @ load. Better safe than sorry.

Oh and what if I wanted to upgrade to the 460 GTX what parts would you recommend then? And thanks for the help! =)

Do you think I would need anything else? Or would everything else work fine?

They will work but you may see your current cpu bottleneck the gpu, you could always overclock your cpu to get the most out of it. But you will need to get a aftermarket cooler like the Coolermaster TX3

I always go for quality branded power supplies like seasonic, corsair, antec but they tend to be much dearer than others on the market but you know they won't just exploded at any time like generic products. You can also consider coolermaster psu's there aren't that dear look to get 500-550w.

Ok so I'm planning to go with my old parts and see if I can somehow manage to get the 460 GTX and Antec Neo Eco 520W. Besides the processor do you think I would need to get a new motherboard?

That's the one you need. I would only upgrade your motherboard when you upgrade your cpu, just overclock the cpu for the time being.

Alright thanks a ton for the help!

So my new PC specs that I want are:

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912

Motherboard: M2N68-LA (Narra3)

Processor: AMD Phenom X3 8400

Memory: 4 GB

Graphics Card: EVGA 460 GTX 1GB

Hard Drive: 500 Gb

PSU: Antec Neo Eco 520W

Do you think all those parts are good? =)
