help overclocking

i need some help overclocking i seem to have hit a wall with my opteron 175 234x11= 2.575ghz @1.44v the thing i cant understand my ram is just some geil value 2x1gig sticks dual channel i have it set at 216mhz in the bios and at the min cpuz says it is running at 257mhz fine but i cant get my bus speed past 234x11 i have tried putting my ram to 233mhz,200hmz and 188mhz in the bios and all i keep getting is BSOD does anyone have any ideas where i am going wrong thanks in advance

You might have maxed out your chip for that voltage mate... I know that some Optys will top around 2.6ish without going to watercooling and giving more voltage.

Well try upping the volts. 1.55v is safe on air as long as you get decent temps

Yes but as usualy you need to keep a constant eye on the temps. Usually boosting the NB voltage doesn't do much on AMD platforms however.
