I have a funny felling my psu inst powerful enough for my pc. Has anyone any thoughts on this? I have been considering OCZ ProXStream 1000w SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply. Is this psu any good?

Believe me when I say your PSU is more than enough for your rig :o

The PSU calculator tells me 606W with 25% capacitor aging (equivalent of having used the PSU for 2 years). That's on full load, so you still have 200-250W of buffer.

i think 1k power supplys are such a waste, half the time you wont even be using 50% of it making it inefficient most of the time and they just plain expensive.

Thanks for the advice. I'm pleased as is only 6 months old.

Out of interest what makes you feel that your current PSU is not powerful enough.

If you are looking at a 1KW PSU though, I would strongly recommend the Zalman 1KW PSU - an amazing bit of kit.
