I really am struggling on what to buy, all I do is game..I might try some streaming at a later date.

I have never owned a high end system my current set up is struggling to the point i have to play games at 720p on low settings specially games like ark, deathwing and doom (2016)

Parts I can reuse
2 ssd as there both new (wont need hard drives intially)
Coolermaster g650m only 2 months old
My monitor resolution is 2560x1080 at 60 hertz.

I will never overclock, the build also needs to be compact so itx or matx
as for cost I am looking at the £600 to £800 mark ..

Hope every one had a good xmas

Hi Cyberboy109... What are your other system specs?Which CPU, memory and motherboard are rockin' with? Id say your current Cooler Master PSU is ample at 750 Watt so you're all good there, you might just need a decent GPU upgrade ;)

GTX 1050Ti's are a good stating point atm pricing from around £130 to £160

I reckon you should wait for Kaby lake to hit marketplace, but meanwhile - MadShadow - i dont see any use of K CPU in that perticular boar and further on - he aint going to OC any. So i would suggest go for something like this

6GB VRAm probably are not wothy for now - as there no much games that can utilize more then 3GB of VRAM and if they can, then advantage over 3GB verion in 1060 case is less then 5%. Only turnover could be DX12 games in future. CPU could even I7 6700 or K - K because price is 10Quids more then non K. In name of future :)

Yeah I dont know why the K version is there, I guess the link is a bit glitchy. Its meant to be the non-k variant.

I dont think your list is better than mine, as I managed to get a 1070 and i5. The 1070 is significantly faster than the 1060.

This will serve you well, you could go for a smaller and even more compact case like the silverstone SG13 I think it will take one reference rx480 alright

As far as cooling goes you can keep the stock cooler or if you really want something better then you could get a Cryorig M9i

If you want a bargain for a used Skylake, CEX is the place to go ATM.

£205 for an i7 6700K and £150 for an i5 6600K. Note that these chips will work on Z270 boards aswell.

I7 6700K

i5 6600k
