Help, new system won't boot!!!

Yep similar thing with the DFI 875P and Intel 6x processors, peeps were having the same probs of the bios not recognising them

hey i was just thinking, if that is that case couldnt you just buy a pre programmed bios chip for like $15AU and use that with hopefully a newer bios on it?:(

I've had that exact same issue before, and it may sound embarassing, but did u plug in the 4-pin power connector to the motherboard? ^^

Cleared CMOS. Switched slots that I had my video card in. Tried other ram stick. All 4 power connectors into the board still same problem

I don't know anything about DFI boards but I think that should answer your question there?

whoops, if thats the case, then my mistake...

Considering I had that EXACT same issue before though (granted, on a different m/b), no POST, or any beeps for that matter, no image, fans and components seem to work... and it was due to the 4 pin power connector... if its plugged in, the issue could be with the PSU on that 4-pin or the "input" on motherboard... try unplugging the 4-pin connector and see if you experience the exact same issue... (its not not guaranteed to be the issue if you do, but it makes the probability of that being the issue higher ^^)

Thanks guys I have now managed to resolve the problem. I have to rebuild again so still can't work out what the problem was.

You're kinda contradicting yourself.

You say you've resolved the problem.... yet haven't worked out what it is?! :\
