Help need a decent (not too big) cooler quick

So I'm pretty convinced my H100 GTX has gone to pot. I am currently trying to do some overclocking and everything from stock settings to overclocked is giving me horrendous temps to the point where I couldn't start my PC (On stock) for a while due to temps being 90 degrees.

I have a fractal S2 but until I upgrade I have a maximus gene board meaning I can't go for what I'd ideally want which would be an NHd15 or dark rock pro due to clearance issues with my GPU.

Can anyone recommend a decent and not too big cooler which would suit my needs and potentially some light overclocking before I upgrade next year sometime?

Tom did a big review of some air coolers a while back , might be worth a revisit to see whats relevant and for ideas
