Help. My MB peeps an says a new CPU found

Hi guys. I was just changing a fan in my case and now when I plugged it in it start peeping 5times pause 5times pause and then 3 times (I Think)

Then a message appears saying a new CPU found press F1 for setup. I have a Sabertooth P67 and i7 2700k.

Can anyone help me please

Did you plug the fan into the motherboard? I have never had this issue but sort of the first thing that popped into my head suggestion was you didn't plug it into the cpu fan header did you?
 
Nope just the same plug the other fan was plugged into :/ Also tried unplugging it and refreshing the BIOS and that did nothig

Can you make sure you cpu fan is pluged into the CPU fan connector on the Motherboard. Your statement above was not clear on the issue.
 
check if your clear cmos jumper is connected correct , maybe your battery is causing problems.. try taking it out and putting it back in ^^ tho with the sabertooth this could be a pain

also try bios update and if everything else fails reseat your cpu just to be safe

Thanks... Gonna try all that and then I'll be back...
 
My UV cathodes were plugged in wrong... Stupid mistake but thanks for all your answers to the manic me... I thougt the world was gonna end
