Help me Overclock

Here goes...

I got a mate that has a kinda old system that he wants to overclock (AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice) from stock speed to the maximum. Since Im not that experianced with overclocking Asus boards, I dont know where to start since some options are not there. This is his system:

AMD Athlon64 3500+ Venice

Asus A8N5X Motherboard

1GB PC2100 Ram

Maxtor 250GB Hard Drive

Please help me out doing so

Mine old ddr133 clocked pretty well, so I'd just up the cpu voltage a little until I'm happy that its not getting too hot. Then up the fsb little by little until it won't boot. Find the highest fsb that it boots on, then lower the cpu voltage little by little until it becomes unstable, then bring it back up to the last stable voltage.

Important-ishly, what cpu cooler does he have? The stock one is pretty good really, you want to keep the cpu under 50 degrees usually.

He has this Akasa blue LED, he has a spare Coolermaster (Looks like a normal CPU Cooler)
