My current build:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP7
CPU: Intel CPU Core i7 3770K Ivy Bridge clocked @ 3.9GHz on 1.14V
Graphics: 2x Asus nVidia GeForce GTX 680 4GB DirectCU II
Graphic clockspeed: @1006 (base clock) @1200 (boost clock)
Memory: 4x 4GB Kingston HyperX PC3-12800 KHX1600
Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 800W

I need to upgrade the case for sure, I have a CM storm enforcer atm.
My keyboard's is horrid as well, I just ordered a new HDD 2TB 7200rpm seagate.

I'm thinking of getting SSD for video captures, is it a good idea?
or should I just invest in a capture card?

I'm thinking for orange, a bit of red and black color scheme.
I was thinking about using an extension braided cables as well to get
the color for the interior.

I need a robust case that will handle air travel (I'm not mildly kidding)
I have to travel from Australia back to US, I was thinking of corsair C70.
I'm worried that C70 can't really take my E-ATX mobo however :(

If anyone can recommend anything for the build or also how to move it about
I would be very grateful.

Sorry to kinda ramble everywhere and also
Thank you very much! :D

Try the CM Storm Trooper/Stryker with the carry handle on the top quite a robust case the C70 won't cut it, as to the ssd it's ok for C: drive but not really for capture purposes your better off with a mechanical for that hope this helps

Don't record to an SSD, you'll kill the poor thing in a few months.
Get the avermedia live capture card and record to a decent hdd (Blue/black/barracuda) and you'll be golden :)

/EDIT : Having a portable case with a E-ATX mobo will undoubtably be difficult, but I think I'll scond the storm tooper/striker, just because of the handle.

I'm a bit worried with CM Storm/Stryker as they aren't fully steel, plastic bezel
and those shiny buttons - truth to be told, I'm a tad bit worried.

Corsair's C70 is fully steel built isn't it? and with the folding carrying handle would
it not be able to bear the long trip? Also I saw the video in youtube regarding hiding the optical drive into the 5.25" bays.

I guess I'm just a tad bit leaning towards C70 to that point that I'm willing to try
to put my z77x-up7. That said, however, I really like to see you guys' opinion -
and I like to see different point of view and if I were wrong, to be corrected.

Thank you so much :D

A mate of mine purchased a C70 and it seemed to be a little bit flimsy the doors weren't very strong and he got a few dings in it maybe someone with the stryker will tell you just how strong or weak they are

GTX 7xx are supposed to be out this month, get yourself 2x 770s instead.

I already have 2 Asus Gtx680 why do I need to change it? O.o

Good point, wish I know someone with CM stryker/storm trooper xD

I'm just really worried that the travel will be troublesome to the parts.

Should I even travel with parts separated or just the whole case filled with foam/clothes to dampen the shock from outside inside another box filled with
foam and/or bubblewrap? hahaha

Drop the E-ATX form factor and stick with MATX/ATX. An Arcmini/Arcmidi from fractal design or maybe even a corsair 300r. I think the Corsair "R" series are all steel so should be good.

Maybe even get a PC for home and a semi powerful laptop on the go?

I can't, I already have my Gigabyte z77x-up7 in my current CM storm enforcer

If I didn't I would've gone with something else for ease of travel :(

Not many decent cases will support E-ATX and mobility. A corsair 350d might be small enough for this but still able to power all the hardware.

This is why I'm thinking at the very least mid tower, since I've gotten my E-ATX into my CM storm enforcer - pretty nice and sturdy as well :|

You might want to wait and ship your pc in parts back to the US and by a Caselabs case like the Merlin SM8 when you get there. That would be sturdy for future travels.

I'm thinking about just grabbing the case and bring it with me as personal luggage, not as a luggage that you checked in and put into the plane separately.

I was thinking about taking the graphics card and sound card and putting them into my main luggage bag and wrap them with their anti static wrap + clothing to dampen the blow.

I'm starting to partially think, is this even possible or a good idea? xD

well, i can't really leave the rig behind :(

I would be very wary tbh. Airline companies do not treat cargo with much respect in fact they usually throw it off the plane into a baggage truck.

You should return many items you have bought and go with M-ATX or Mini-ITX IMHO.

All the hassle with anything bigger is so not worth it. Make it easier and less problematic.

I wish I could return it, but I'm not 100% sure I could :[

I'm going to a store tomorrow perhaps and I'm going to bring my motherboard just so I can find a case that can handle it, then I'm thinking about picking up some pelican cases to bring the hardware in.

Considering pelican cases are pretty decent, I could perhaps throw them into the check in luggage instead onboard, I could throw some stuff into the case and carry it onboard into the cabin right? Save myself the problem later?

oh well if anything I'll put it as a project and i'll take a pic, going to be funny just to show how an air travel half a world away will be carrying the rig xD
