Hello,

so, I just finished my build... and sadly my h100 arrived with a defective pump/fan controller, so im using the stock cooler.

My problem/question is, I installed the thermal radar / Core temps to check the i5 2500k temps, but, wtf is that clock, is it some kind of bug? (screenshot)

Besides that, im getting REALLY weird temps, like, 30º iddling or 85º under 50-70% load (cpu temps, not core)

And what is that 8.5ghz clock that Im getting? @@ (iddling 1600, loaded 3700~ and that weird thing at 8.5ghz) what is hapening @@

looks like core temp is broken =-[, do you sugest any program to control the temperatures?

And a lst question, can you sugest a cpu cooler that works with tall memorys+corsair airflow?

I would go for a sealed h2o kit like the h100 or h80 from corsair.

Coretemp is fine for temps just use cpz for freq cheaks.

Nice rig mate, I love the HAF range.

Note: I wouldn't try overclocking till you get a much better cooler.

I had a h100 (ordered it with all the other pieces), but it arrived defective, and since Im from Brazil, it will take a while until I receive a replacement... so I was thinking about buying a cheap one while I wait for it
