just a quick hello.
First up, Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to you all.
Been looking for a PC forum that has a broad active membership.
I have had OC3D on my favourites for a number of years now but just never got around to register.
My first computer was a second hand ex-school PC out of necessity because of a digital camera gift.
That was in the late 90's.
The total addiction of PC's and PC hardware came a number years later when I had a PC built to my own specifications.
The case was an Antec Super Lanboy, with a windowed side panel (still have that case)
CPU was an AMD 64 socket 754 3200+ with a K8N-E Deluxe Asus motherboard.
Looking into the window and seeing all the electronic goodness totally blew my mind!
This is when I started to "tinker" with the insides.
First cab off the rank was to do some cable management, the rest they say is history.
Over the years I have built myself and friends a number of PC's.
The one I use now I built way back in 2012!
At the time it was my "dream machine" and the reason I still use it?
The Intel® Core™ i7-3930K still does everything I ask of it, and the Asus Rampage 4 Formula that it's married to even after all these years is a pleasure to use.
So I decided to venture into the world of custom loop water cooling!
here is a pic of that PC that got the ball rolling
