Just want to say hi. Been lurking for awhile learning the ropes and building my new rig posted in my sig. I can say that all went smooth as silk. Just wish I had the money to build another one.

Besides the specs listed in sig:

Corsair Vengeance C70 case
Corsair HX850 p/s
Corsair H100i with 4x SP120 in Push-Pull
8x Corsair AF120 case intake and exhaust setup(kinda overkill but ice cold)
Sunbeam Rheosmart 6 Channel Fan Controller

I have absolutely NO complaints with any of the parts and pieces that I decided to use.

I also wanted to add the fact that I built my PC primarily as a flight sim platform.
The requirements are generally different than with traditional gaming rigs. Microsoft Flight Simulator being a somewhat finicky and aging piece of software built around 32bit architecture can only use 4gb memory and only two processor cores effectively. (I am using 3 logical cores through Affinity Mask settings for headroom with Hyperthreading disabled).

Also FSX is heavily cpu dependent and less gpu dependent. Higher the overclock the better. With proper OS and FSX tweaking and the specs listed in my sig, a great FSX experience can finally be achieved.

haha I lived in Daytona for six years but had to get out. SoFlo is whole other beast.
