Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice PC Performance Review

Not surprising it favors Nvidia. Most Unreal Engine 4 games do because of how closely Nvidia and that engine team work together

Bloody hell that's pretty. It looks almost too good to be true. I simply must own this game.

Ed. Reviews are glowing. Ugh, damn you crappy internet speed !

Ed2. It's only £24.99 too !

The only thing keeping me away is the controls on PC. I've already heard they're awkward, game is better suited to a controller, etc. Same thing I heard about the Witcher 3 and that turned out to be bang on, so I'd be hesitant to buy this. God how I hate console ports! Too bad though, this one looks like it's EXCEPTIONALLY well done, with a great (and unique) story / setting / character.

Witcher 3 is fine without a controller. It plays better without one. I used a controller and it was setup nice but I prefer the keyboard.

If I am playing a console designed game I usually use the controller. Well, for stuff like Fallout 4 etc any way. If it's a FPS I use the KBM. IIRC I used my Xbone controller for Witcher 3 too.

Witcher 3 controls are awful on PC. Couldn't bring myself to play past 1 hour with those controls. I hated every minute of it. Combat was beyond awful, as was most of that entire interface. I'm in the minority I know. :) Just watching the gameplay videos of this Sauna game, I can tell I'd probably hate it just as much.

Dear lord. So I got this earlier. Installed it, loaded it.. GPU fan immediately went to like 90% and stayed there for every second I played it.

It's hard to believe at times that it's actually a game. I knew a girl who used to look identical to the one in the game, so every time I see her face I think of my friend. Amazing, but think this one needs water or it will drive me insane.

Jesus boobie masturbating thinger. So it turns out this game is tougher on my GPU than any benchmark I own. Even an hour of heaven put me at 74c (OC max). Then I ran this. 78....80...84...86

86c ! On water ! Have turned down the overclock. This game keeps the GPU jammed at 99%. Got the temps down to 74c now which I can live with. Not terribly pleased, but then the Titan XP is a friggin hot son of a bench.

Can't get into the game though sadly. I can't hear what the whispers are saying during her psychosis and even with headphones on words sound like other words, making me run around in circles for 45 mins and then giving up.

I just don't get some games. It's an autism thing I think.

OK so I installed the two updates for this and my GPU usage dropped to 80% max along with my temps, 56c max.
