Hi Guys,

After rebuilding my system, thought i'd see how stable it was, so I ran Prime95 for a while (Mouse kept freezing, but no BSOD) also thought i'd try Heaven Benchmark, I was running everything on MAX settings, and have 2x GTX580 SLI, at the begining of the year I got the following results:-

FPS 82.0

Scores - 2065

Min FPS 27.1

Max FPS 170.2

Tonight I got:-

FPS 56.9

Scores - 1411

Min FPS 26.5

Max FPS 142.4

How can they be soooooooooooooo different

Does this mean my system is becoming unstable??? (With the Prime95 issue aswell)

Thanks in advance for your help

Yeah running the newer version now, tonight's was of DX11 maxed out, I think the one at beginning of year was DX10 but I'm not 100%

But with prime95 (mouse lag / freezing) was worried that system is unstable, what do ya think

Just watched a GTX 580 SLI Heaven benchmark on YouTube, and the guy got less than me, so maybe it's right....... I have a feeling at the beginning over the year was DX10 cuz if I run it in DX10 now I get the same sort of FPS as the top.

Sorry to waste people's time

although a bit worried about prime95 (although never crashed)

The newer heaven 2.5 gives less points, compared to 2.1

You have a little problem there, and therefore not wasting anys time

Try giving your cpu some more volts(a small amount should be ok), that should solve the mouse lagging during p95

results change all the time in benchmark programs, depends on everything, what you been doing with your computer services running extra content added, sometimes can be faster, but either way heaven and furmarch strain the hell out of it so any problems will come up on them, furmark it for 30 mins then haven for a few hours, if your system doesnt set on fire or die, your good to go for 6 months THEN CLEAN SYSTEM dust etc
