heard you can't crossfire TOXIC & VAPOR-X ati 4890

Im not sure where but i remember seeing something in the internet saying that you can't crossfire the vapor-x and toxic versions of ati 4890 because the stock cooler is too big, this is a big problem for me because my board only has 2x pci-e x16 slots. I have the ASUS P6T SE LGA 1366 Intel X58, can anybody confirm this to be true or false? THANX

Your board has a single slot inbetween the two PCIe x16 slots.

Both cards are dual slot card, so the top one will be very close to the second but they will work.

Well, I have 2 Vapor-x cards and there's 1 slot between them in my setup + As the person above me said; You could do it, but it would be tight.

You would probably experience heat issues with vapor-x cards (which have an awfull cooler) So go with the toxic one.

Now if you're trying to crossfire Vapor-x + toxic make sure vapor-x is the master card, you could hurt it as it would try to clock itself to toxic's core and memory clock.
