Headset woes

Basically the vibration in my speedlink medusas are the main source of bass (or substitute) and they worked fine. But now i find music sound v.poor through them, games distort and the vibration function fails completely.

And yes i have got the volume on the vib dial turned up :p

Make sure the dial on your amp is turned up too far, that causes massive distortion after about a 3rd of the way around lol

Well i usually turn up my pc volume then adjest the amp to my liking - im a bit of an audiophile prefering quality to loudness so yea, i wouldnt be putting that too high

Maybe i could adjust the dials on the volume thingy so that all apart from the vibration is turned down (atm its vib: 10, the rest about 8)

i have the exact same problem i think its a common one mate, i found if i put windows volume above half way it goes crazy with the buzzing and distortion same with the volume on the headset.

try putting windows to 4, amp as high as you want and headset volume to 5-6 and it should be crystal clear although if its like mine the vibration wont work anymore.

another annoying thing is whenever i go speakers i have to go turn windows back up becuase my samsung cinema thing really doesn't like it when its half way :S

should work though, good luck :)

It seems to sound a bit better now the headset volumes are lower and ibration higher but still, it doesnt shake my head like before :( Ive contacted speedlink so errr yea, lets see wot they say
