Mine's obviously more flexible than yours as that's not a problem for me. Maybe the fact that I don't have the Mach 2's side panel on gives it some more flexibility.

For the record I don't think it was running with the head up that broke it, it was bending the head into place that caused a leak in the tubing. Just didn't want to discourage people from cooling their graphics cards.
