i just recieved my new headphones today, it is my FIRST set of headphones ever for my computer and i must say i LOVE them. so i recommend the Zalman 5.1's for anyone that wants to know.

That's a type I'm thinking of getting.

Just waiting for a reply from Razer - I asked them why their Barracudas were so expensive in the UK, compared to the US - hopefully my considerable influence will prompt them to completely rethink their pricing structure :D

Cool :)

I ordered some Speedlink Medusa's yesterday.

Was looking at the Zalman's, but the Medusa's seemed more finished and I liked the idea of the amp/pass-thru.

While the meds are better, you pay for it. The zalmans are a quality piece of kit.

I think that's why I was looking at the Zalmans :) because they seemed quite cheap (£35) but I got the medusa's with amp etc for £41 inc postage.

Looks like that's in america only? :(

Is that not a type of pyramid scheme?

Basically everyone (25 people) pays $5 for a 1 in 25 chance to win a set.

I didnt see anywhere that said limited to USA residents ..

All of the people who have won were in the USA :(

Not sure if it is USA only, but it is on the USA site. Couldn't find it on the UK one.

You pay $5 and have a 1/25 chance of winning? (4%?)

Seems a bit of a pyramid thing, I'm surprised they can do that, thought most pyramid schemes online were outlawed?

we seem to be looking at this differently, to me its worth it to pay $5 for a 1 in 25 chance at the headphones.

They also state if you have already bought the home edition set and you win they will refund $125 (25 X $5) to your acct.

A pyramid scheme suggests fraud, This looks like they are being very honest and upfront and giving those of us that cant pay the full price to pay a chance to win them instead.
