HDMI v DP

So I got a used 32" 1440p widescreen and am currently using it with HDMI and get the full 144htz

Is there any point or reason that I should consider a DP cable?

long story short. for 144hz HDMI is fine with some minor sacrifices.

As long as your ports offer enough bandwidth there will be no difference between the two. You need at minimum HDMI 2.0 or DP1.2
