HDDs whats gone wronge

What's going on with the price of hdd's atm. Last year i could bye a 1T for about £60, now you can't even get a 80 gb for this. is to try and push the sale of ssd's.

The vast majority of HDDs are manufactured in Thailand and due to floods which destroyed HDD manufacturing plants there, the remaining stock of HDDs have sky-rocketed. Its expected that prices will go back down in January 2012 but it could take a bit more time.

It might be a while before we see the prices normalise.
