Hey guys.
I have a folding farm as some of you might know. You can find some specs in the signature. If that's not enough, here:
I have an old HD4870 still in the house and I was thinking of trying to get this to work. I figure if it would work with the proper driver, I could test 3DMark Vantage and check out the CPU score and see if the Opterons 6180s can compete with a 2600k stock.
Needles to say, this is no gaming rig, but I thought if I could get a GTX 660 in there I could play on 1080p some games if I really wanted to. This still will remain a folding farm, but it is nice to have the option. And since this is the only computer (besides my MacBook) I would like to see if I can get any 3D application running...
So far I have had no luck getting the driver to work. I hope that someone here has experience of the slight adjustment necessary to get a desktop driver working on a server platform.
Googling so far I had no luck. I'm looking forward to any ideas on what to do...
