Hazro 27 ips 2560 or lg 23 ips 1920

Sup guys. I was wondering if it is wprth double the money to get the boosted resolution and bigger screen than the cheaper lg panel. I wanna go with an ips panel instead of a tn as ive always had a tn. Im happy with them but i hear the ips produce some pretty colours and i spend atleast 3 hours a day googling bora bora so i can get the hazro for 400 or the lg for 155. Or is a 27inch tn 1920x1200 good enough

You are right about IPS panels producing some pretty colours. I have a Dell Ultrasharp U2410, which I picked up recently and I have to say it beats my old 19" by a mile. 1920 x 1200 over a 27" screen won't look as good as it would on a 24" screen, because of the larger area the pixels would have to cover. I play at 1920 x 1200 and I have to say everything looks extremely sharp and vivid and I'm amazed at how beautiful it makes my wallpapers.

As for your choices I would say go for the 23" LG as 2560 x Whatever is a really demanding resolution to play at for any of the recent cards. Another 23" screen I would suggest is the Dell Ultrasharp U2311.

No probz. Nvidia have "Nvidia Surround", which will allow a 3 monitor configuration. What is the monitor called (The LG one)?

So your going for a massive upgrade then with the Sandy-Bridge E and kepler, I like it

Dude ive spent £1100 and have very little to show for it lol i have the sata3 ssd sata 3 2tb fast as flip wd hdd 2 separate wc systems (no fittings yet. Bloody bitspower are expensive as hell trying to find good quality nice looking compression at a reasonable price aint easy 1200 watt power supply. X79 all the way baby. Im gonna have to make a reactor out the back of my house so the parents dont notice the energy bills

Lol, your system is going to be a beast. Kepler is a long way off though so will you be able to wait that long with your expensive bits lying around doing nothing. Are you not going to be playing BF3?

Im gonna buy a evga gtx 550 2048 for 140 to tide me over as the dude i work with is gonna need a new card to play mass effect 3 so hes gonna by it off me for 100 im just gonna have an empty loop for a while. Mayhem wont be pleased just counted that my design needs another 8 phobya gsilent blue 120s 2 coolermaster mega flow 200 blues and about 28 fittings. Lolz im so glad my motorbike is fin finance next month. If keplers here before march ill be chuffed to bits two of the gtx580 equivalents and i will blow the flip out of everything. Check out project thad castle. They are the first pics ive taken. The case/tv unit lol im modeling in solidworks atm to calulate how much acrylic i need. So im pretty chilled out about it as x79 isnt gona be out for atleast 1.1/2 months and toms review will take a few days so. Exciting times

Well ive already got the software so the budget is about £2500 but im flexible

Cool. But if you get the high end Kepler GPU's (680's), no doubt it will probably cost you close to a grand or higher (for 2). Also how much are the screen's costing you? You will most likely go over £3000

Im guessin they be 450 reference plus 60 each for the waterblocks yea i think you might be right. This system is gonna own lol. I dont think ill be upgrading for a while. Im also gonna be firing in 36gb of vengeance. Just for the fun of it. If the spread of the batches is so far apart its not as bad lol

Can you even do 36GB? Isn't 24GB the max with 6 x 4GB DIMMS. Patriot have come out with 8GB modules, but I don't think they are available to buy yet though.

I know u werent dude its all good. I know 32 is too much but when an 8gb pack is 40 quid i may aswell fill em for 160 ill be doing a load of rendering and modeling so i guess it cant hurt having the extra headroom
