Hey all,
i brought a HAF-X a couple of months back for my 2011 rig, i love the case its big and i love the cable management but the only problem ive had with it is with the side fan.
Im having to clean the dust filter every 2 - 3 weeks due to it just getting extremely dusty and its a pain in the bottom getting the dust filter out to clean, would it effect my system if i just removed the fan?
Or maybe i should try cleaning my room abit better lol
Ive seen some modded HAF-X cases with it removed and just been replaced with a huge acrylic window and maybe install the graphic card cover that comes with the case with a 120mm fan so my graphic card temp wouldnt suffer soo much after removing the 230mm fan from the side.
To be honest i wouldnt mind soo much cuz the fan is still pulling a good airflow if the dust filter is full but it makes the case look dirty with the gray circle dust in the filter.
The CPU is watercooled with a H100
What do you think
