H220-X Finally Released

I like it - as most people put their h100i or krakens in the top of their rigs anyways - where it would be a problem would be in some/most mini ITX builds.... :(

What I dont understand is why they release a single 140/120 version of it if you can only place it at the top of you system...??? Who places their kraken x40 or similar at the top? Most of the single AIO´s seems to be placed in the rear or front or in smaller MINI ITX builds.

You don't have to mount this radiator horizontally, it can be mounted vertically, as for tight spaces it's again not really an issue as you could simply swap out the hoses for shorter lengths or longer.

I've become quite fond of this particular AIO now.

Sry my fault, as I thought i read that you can only mount it to the top.

eh. Still rather personally get a Coolermaster eisberg with some acrillic piping as that'd fit my itx case more.
ahem.

Yeah space is an issue, hows the build coming along?

Its ground to a halt at the mo' due to various reasons/not having enough time to do both builds. Once I finish my pentium build I hope to start it again.
Except it'll be slightly more powerful ;).

Hmmm interesting. I'm currently using a H100i but have been considering a custom loop (so I can add in a gpu block or two in the future) and then this comes along... Any one know how this compares to a decent custom loop performance wise? I know this will be cheaper so am guessing it won't perform as well ....

Well I'm even more impressed, this is the first user system I've seen sporting the H220-X (Thanks Linus) I think it looks pretty cool even the res is not to "in your face"

The only thing that draws my eye is the Pump, as it sits a knats nut too low, he would have been better off placing the rad right up to the case roof with the fans above and screw through.

Thats a well endowed knat from where i'm standing. This could never conform to worldwide OCD standards, i'm afraid I will have to report it to the International Board of Clean and get them to issue an immediate recall.

really thinking hard on how i can get one of these soon

I wouldn't mind getting the 280mm version which is set to come out in September and judging by this 240mm so far it beats all the other 240mm AIO's on the market so the 280 should be even better.

only wonder can you remove the pump from the rad if you wanted a different setup

As far as I've been able to find out you can but we need a proper in depth review, If not then it's no biggie as I wouldn't expect it from an AIO.
