Hello i just purchased a h100i and i was wondering where i have to plug the fans into because my friends said plugging them into the header on my H440 may make them run at the wrong speed or something. If anyone could tell me where i should plug them in and show a picture of where to plug them in and set them up i would really appreciate it.

Take a look here, it has detailed instructions on how to install the H100i.

The H100i has an integrated 4-fan hub which is where you will want to plug in your H100i fans. You will find two ports on top of the cooling unit, where you can plug in the included fan power adapter cables. Each adapter will support two fans, and by plugging the fans directly into the fan power adapter cable and into the cooling unit, you will be able to monitor and control the H100i fans through the Corsair Link V2 software.

The cooling unit itself has two cables to plug in, a SATA power connector, and a pump sensor cable. The SATA power connector should be connected directly to an available SATA power cable from your PSU, and the 3 pin (with only a single sensor wire) fan connector should be plugged into your CPU fan header on the motherboard. The sensor cable relays pump RPM information to both the BIOS and to the Corsair Link V2 software, and lets your motherboard know that you have a CPU cooler installed.

Hope this helps!

You need to remove some plastic caps from the fan cables
(it may be confusing if you're not that familiar with PC internals)

Really sorry for asking such a stupid question. The mistake i made was the fan header plug i was confused where it went not realising that the plug has a sleeve where the 4 pins come out to plug the fans into....... IFAIL LoL Appreciate the help as always though :D

I made that mistake when installing my H100i - i didn't spot the covers on the fan leads and wondered where the hell they went. Needless to say I felt like a chump after!

I know this exact feeling i felt like a right helmet posting this thread then realising there was sleeves over the pins LoL. If they were see through i probably would have realised straight away corsair should label them or something :D.

Appreciate the help too i honestly didnt realise this :( LoL

Wouldn't worry about it :)
Even the system builders at my workplace, well accustomed to the Corsair H series products, were confused when they started butting these caps on the cables :D
