H100 or budget water cooling system

I already have a H100 in push/pull and my temps are great.

Im thinking about selling it and trying a custom set up.

The only reason i would do this is performance/temps.

I would also have a budget of £120 but i dont mind buying used pums or resevoirs as my pc has no window.#

Am i going to put a basic custom install in for that?
Is it worth it?
Would i see any noticable difference between the custom & the H100?

Thoughts please

Wouldn't be suggesting a custom watercooling loop at £120, try about double it to make it worthwhile when you count in a good pump, res, tubing, blocks and a decent rad.

save you hard earned cash for a proper water-cooling solution. you already have
the H100.. spending for a H100i is deffo not a major performance gain over your
current situation.
as to performance over your nowcooling, yes for the loaded temperatures. idle
temps (has no value to mark with) minimal if any.
i noted from a overclocked 2550k on H100 (fans 100% molex) 86° - 28°A
same clock with just a XSPC RX240 RASA kit to 68° - 27° - 27.5°A
using same fans @ 12v 100%. it was loud as all get out.
so undervolted the H100 fans to 7v and the temps went to 70° - 28°A
so for 16° under loaded overclock, yeah it is a better solution. even replaced the
fans with SP120 undervolted to 7v and the temps were the same and alot quieter.
