Guitar Modding :D

Heya guys,

I've had this acoustic guitar for quite a while and used it a fair bit back in the day. It's just a generic unknown-brand (Century) not-really-worth-any-money guitar but I do like it. It looks boring though. Time to change that

Sadly, I forgot to take pics of how it looked before I started working on it. Anyway, here we go:


Stripped down:

Painting it white:

Ordered some new parts:

Getting an idea of where everything's going to go:

It's not supposed to be all tidy and perfect, let's go for a messy effect (not the football player):

Starting to paint here, had to get used to this very thin acylic paint:

Fixed. Continue painting:

Aaaaaand it's finished! Let me know what you guys think

Not my kind of thing unfortunately.
I'd have preferred is all white with the black scratchplate and boarder.

Also, music staffs have 5 lines, not 6

Heh - I only noticed cause I was trying to work out if you'd actually written out a proper tune or just random notes

I'm sure you'd get away with it with most other people.

I agree with JamesRiley. I have an Epiphone G400 in Worn Cherry, and it looks amazing. Simple (red, black with some silver/pearl), but good

They're just random, must be why I did notice that I had fanitically drawn one line too much :lol:
