Guitar Modding :D

Heya guys,

I've had this acoustic guitar for quite a while and used it a fair bit back in the day. It's just a generic unknown-brand (Century) not-really-worth-any-money guitar but I do like it. It looks boring though. Time to change that :)

Sadly, I forgot to take pics of how it looked before I started working on it. Anyway, here we go:

Stripped down:

Painting it white:

Ordered some new parts:

Getting an idea of where everything's going to go:

It's not supposed to be all tidy and perfect, let's go for a messy effect (not the football player):

Starting to paint here, had to get used to this very thin acylic paint:

Fixed. Continue painting:

Not my kind of thing unfortunately.
I'd have preferred is all white with the black scratchplate and boarder.

Also, music staffs have 5 lines, not 6 ;)

Shiiieeeeeet, I actually knew this and I didn't even notice that I drew 6 O_o'
I feel well stupid now...

Heh - I only noticed cause I was trying to work out if you'd actually written out a proper tune or just random notes :)

I'm sure you'd get away with it with most other people.

I agree with JamesRiley. I have an Epiphone G400 in Worn Cherry, and it looks amazing. Simple (red, black with some silver/pearl), but good :D
