Guitar Hero type game for PC - Free!! (Frets On Fire)

It's a fun game!! I suck major donkey at it though :(

Just got a 77% accuracy on the easy song, that must be noobalicious.
 
im an idiot i was just playing the game normal with the keyboard just sitting on the desk and i was like there has to be an easier way and then i looked at the dude holding the keyboard like a guitar and was like OH THATS HOW YOU HOLD IT! lol haha but if i hold it like my that i cant reach the f keys.
 
I play with it in the desk, cause I found F5 to be annoying to reach when I'm trying to do the solos and such, so I changed it to ZXCVB instead, so I couldn't do it like that if i wanted to.

thats awesome frag! good job... does anyone know if i could just get a guitar hero 2 controller for 360 and plug it into the computer and make it work?.. because if so it would be way better then guitar hero 2 because it has all the songs and more on it.
 
You can get any xbox/xbox360 controller to work on the pc with the XBCD drivers.

There are quite a few people using the PS2 guitar hero controllers on the PC (I think they are cheaper).

There are a few people who have made their own aswell :) I saw one where someone messed up a squier strat (£75-100 guitar), turning it into a controller for fretsonfire :eek:

Nice :)

I think guitar hero & guitar hero2 should be better games as they have better graphics.

I was looking at getting a cheap controller, but the cheapest I can find is a PS2 wireless one for £25 :( Also the guitar hero controllers are tiny in comparison to a proper guitar.

i totally i agree, i also think there should be more songs and better songs as well.. with this i can just get pretty well any song i want.
