GTX 780 or wait for GTX 780 Ti

Thinking of getting gtx 780 or waiting for gtx 780 ti am I right the ti is going to be same dosh. If so any recommendation's to which gtx 780 to go for.

The Ti will be more expensive. The 780's will drop in price so the Ti's will probably be similarly priced to the 780's at launch. I would just go for a non-ref 780. The EVGA (ACX cooler) version seems to be very popular.

Are right was looking at msi gaming after seeing tom review today. That he had seen it for £480. I've not been able to find for that price any were.

I've heard good things about EVGA's customer service. Don't know much about MSI's tbh.

Performance wise, the EVGA is better, but not by a massive amount. The MSI card is ~£40 cheaper, so if you don't have the extra £40, go for the MSI.

EVGA have good customer care, sadly I am all to familiar with them due to never having a product from them that worked without fault. I'd say go for MSI.

Judging by "leaked specs" the Ti will have a few more cuda cores and rops, Nothing special, Get a 780 and then maybe a 2nd for SLI when the prices drop.

If the GPU companys would just release the damn pricing instead of making people wait so damn long which is pointless then they might get a few more customers saying "ok I have time to save up now or sell my older stuff now that I know the price" and maybe get a few more customers, The way they are doing it now makes a lot of people think "Bugger it, I'll wait for Maxwell"

Wait for the 780ti to launch before you decide, even if you still want a GTX 780 you should be able to get it cheaper after the 780ti launch.
