Hi everyone.

I am new here on overclock3d :)

I have a quick question for you peeps, I just ordered:
2 x EVGA GTX 780 Classified Hydro Copper edition grafics cards,
last week right when the prices dropped after the 290X.
Now seeing the 780Ti specs leaked and wondering if im making a bad
investment in these 2 cards, since im not going to get money enough to
buy another very big (to me) upgrade in the near future. This is the first
time I spend this much on grafics cards.

My system:
ASUS Rampage Extreme IV
3930K
16Gb Kingston memory
Corsair AX1200i
Corsair 120Gb SSD
WD Black 2Tb HD

Making an EK themed watercooled system with the EK MB waterblock + CPU. Only thing I am not watercooling is my ram, due to reaching my budget.

I still have the option to cancel my order for the 2 x GTX 780 classified HC,
and I am not sure what to do.

Affraid im gonna sit there with spending allmost 1400 euros, looking at the Ti and saying why didnt I wait.

Please share you thought about this :) Apreaciate any inputs.

Sorry in advance for any language/spelling errors.

My opinion is that the hydro copper is way overpriced and dosent even look good if you arent going to overclock the gpu i would not even recommend the classified either but the 780ti is going to be good but id think an sli 780 setup will be better pluss the 780ti will be very expensive. il recommend sli 780 with costume water blocks cheap and just as good, looks better in my mind. :D

Stick with the EVGA cards as they will be fine for a fair while to come and I wouldn't be surprised if the new 780Ti's come in at around £650 to £750 to be honest.

Normally the EVGA Classified GPU's are decent overclockers as well so you should get some decent clocks out them.

Considering the GHZ edition cards are ~£50 more dear, the Ti's will likely be £500+.

As above, I would stick with the 780's.

Thanks all of you that reply'ed, I think im gonna follow your recommendations and stick with these 2 cards. now someone just gotta put some reviews out for them :)

Thanks again!

You could cancel the order and save some money and then buy the GHZ ed cards along with ek waterblocks.. Should be cheaper if i am correct?

If you do run SLI 780's then only run them at 1440p; otherwise it is just a waste.

I have thought about it alot, but I do like the look of the EVGA blocks, even though alot of people dont share my opinion. Like the logo, and I think its gonna look sweet with the new EVGA Pro SLI bridges.

Yes ofcourse I only game at 1440p :P PLS/IPS panels ftw :)

Stick with your 780's, The "Ti" although looking to be a nice card wont be such a huge step, Keep what you have, Enjoy them and wait for Maxwell :)
