Other cooler for 780 Hydrocopper?? HELP!

I have a 780 hydrocopper from EVGA but its the Hydrocopper version that has no other cooler - only the water block. Its the NORMAL hydrocopper NOT the classified.

I am in the making of fixing a PC for a mate of mine that had some Health issues and had to go away for some time. I want to surprice him with a fix up of his old pc (i5 + gtx 750) and use part that I have laying around. I can give him a SLI of 780s but I need to change the Hydrocoppers water block for a Air one.

Now, I have another mate that can send me a ACX cooler from a 780 that he had before but that he is not using.

WILL the ACX cooler fit the 780 Hydrocopper? From what I know then the hydrocpper 780 does not have a reference PCB.

Anyone know?

Not sure if the ACX cooler would fit, but there are aftermarket coolers available.

The Arctic Accellero series of GPU coolers would be something to look at.

Yeah??? if that would be so then it would be great for the ACX cooler i think.

Just wait for a few more comments first just to be on the safeside as there are some on here with quite a bit of EVGA usage and knowledge who may have more concrete answers

The 780 Hydro Copper is an nVidia reference PCB. Your good to go OP

Yeah I would imagine it's stock as it's not the classified hydro copper.

What you could do is buy an NZXT Kraken and a cheap AIO and put that on it, that will fit pretty much anything any ways.
