GTX 780, 770 and 760ti due May/June

Nah you'd probably be good with those.

I just don't get the other cards at all. You can already get 4gb 680s so talk about a pointless card. It's just Nvidia creating a whole new range out of nothing. AGAIN.

IIRC the 4GB 680 is useless because of the 256bit bus, the card can only use 2.4GB of the VRAM??

Because you will need that much grahics power.

NOT

Shortened that a bit :)

I guess it depends what you mean when you say need.

Do you need all that graphics power? well tbh if you want to max out and stuff on the AA with many of the recent titles? yeah, you need that much power.

Crysis 3, heck, even Tomb Raider is just about acceptable for me on ultra settings with 4XMSAA.

If you're happy to reduce settings? of course then you don't NEED it per se, it just becomes a luxury and we all like our little luxuries :)

Well currently I can max out every game I've tried, Crysis 3 with full aa is a little sluggish, Without it's smooth as butter and the same with Tomb Raider with full aa sluggish and without, Awesome.
Another 680 is in order me thinks :D

DAFUQ ? I can play Tomb Raider on my 6950 @900 Mhz oc on ultra with enough frames for a single player game, which is about 50-60ish if i remember corect.

If you take a look at the benchmarks Kambo and I put out with it then you'll find it needs two cards to be able to be absolutely maxed out with acceptable FPS.

It's a recurring trend tbh dude. Sleeping Dogs, Hitman... All of these new titles need two cards to be able to crank on the settings.
