gtx 690 : is this a good deal?

i ve found a used gtx 690 (dual gpu card) at 200euro.
is it a good deal?

I'd rather get a 980 for that price, I bought mine for about 220 euros more than half a year ago, so you schould be able to get one now for 200 euros.

As above mate. Though personally I would be looking at the RX480 instead.

The 690 is a long since outdated card and 2GB barely adequate for most 1080p games.

It gets hot, consumes power like crazy and in terms of performance it probably gets beaten by a 480.

If it was cheaper I'd get it so I could display it in a frame. Such a pretty card. Its a bit too slow now to be worth it for gaming though, IMO.

the 690 isnt that slow to be honest.. but thats not a cheap price.

Avoid the GTX 690 as it only has 2gb of memory per GPU.

I still own a pair of them and they are fantastic cards with better performance than the GTX 980s at high resolution but and it is a big but, they rely on SLI working and are limited to 2gb of memory. This makes them next to useless for a lot of the latest games and future releases.
