GTX 680 single slot

I was searching the internet and found out that there is going to be a single slot GTX 680 and thought i would get the verdict from some enthusiast's weather you think this is a good idea or you think this idea is going to be a fail.

I will stick to dual slot considering my card hit's 80c anyway when gaming, and I am pretty sure that a single slot card would get even hotter than that.

Mine may drop in temp if I was to turn my case fans up but I just don't want to.

It would have to be for a very specific build but generally most people as well as myself would choose the reference card.

Only get the single slot card if you have a small case that only fits small motherboards. The temps are probably going to be very high and it would probably be very noisy. If you have enough room, get the reference one or wait for a non-reference card as they run cooler, are less noisy, overclocks better, are cheaper and are easier to find.

I wonder if later when the water block appear you could use a one slot bracket... That`s why I wanna get a reference card.

Air cooled? Its' made by Galaxy I heard, so there should be a KFA2 version too because they're the same company. I think it's called a razor edition? There's a GTX460 version, and GTX260

Ye if you don't need it that small don't get it because it sacrifices cooling performance
