GTX 670, Very poor 3D Mark 11 P score

Try the adrenaline crysis 2 benchmark. Here are my results at 1080p with a 580:

Average is 54.9 FPS

The min FPS is quite troubling on the last one, but game play is very smooth.

I had to update Catzilla to beta 20. Dont know if that will make a difference but I got 14381.

Hardware 14263
Fur test 1108
Fluid test 916
Raymarch test 426

Thats all the tests that relate to Gpu, how did you do? (rhyme)

Well here is my score

Overall - 13546
Hardware - 13102
Fur - 922
Fluid - 859
Raymarch - 394

As you can see, despite me having a better better cpu I still score quite a lot lower than you, and the ones I score worse in are the ones that are mainly just gpu

Not good :S

Edit : Overclocked a little

New scores

Overall - 14887
Hardware - 1489
Fur - 989
Fluid - 940
Raymarch - 433

Better, although hardware is cpu and gpu so I should be doing quite a bit better I would have thought, also you are quite a lot ahead on Fur

What temp is your card? Does the asus do the thing where it steps the power down when it gets over a certain temperature? I know mine does. Seems a bit much for that though.
Tell me your overclock settings and Ill do the same run. (maybe later on as Im out going out to dinner)

Ok so I am using MSI OSD to monitor the clocks, and no matter what game I am playing the core never goes above 706mhz and the memory doesn't go above 3604mhz, I have maximum performance on in the Nvidia Control panel

This is a bump and is why I have not edited into my last post

I'd try and contact Asus support, dude - see what they have to say about it.
Out of interest, are all your Motherboard stuffs up to date? BIOS, drivers etc.

Yeah all that stuff is completely updated

Edit : When I run GPUZ it reports the clocks as they should be, however the core actually goes above what the boost is set to

As you can see here, Afterburner and GPUZ report back different clocks

Ok I did that overclock (1137 core) and got 14947.
Hardware 14714
Fur 1142
Fluid 940
Raymarch 436

Fluid and raymarch are the same as yours but my Gpu just loves fur it seems.
Ill get it a fur backplate.

Hope this helps

The hardware test, is CPU and GPU, I have a better cpu so my score should surely be a lot better there, I need to find out how much of the score is affected by cpu

Well I am certianly no longer bothered about my scores :D My 3D Mark 11 score is still pretty bad but in games its great and I have also been playing around with catzilla for a bit and I now have the 4th best score in the world for anyone with a 670 in the cat test

And for the kitty test I actually have the best 670 score in the world and have the 4th best kitty score in the world

The tiger test is no longer part of the free version :/ Oh well, it's only a couple of quid :) One weird thing though, I set the clocks to 1100 core, and 1852 memory, but when I run catzilla gpuz reports that the core is running at 1241mhz, if I actually set it to 1241mhz iun afterburner then it runs at around 1350mhz and crashes

now it sounds like your card is turbo boosting too much lol tbh your catzilla scores if i was you i would be uber happy and leave it as it is.

i still cant understand the 3d mark scores but could just be "futuremark" needing another update cause of new nvidia drivers etc..
