Hi all!

I have OC'ed my gtx 570 to 900mhz on the coree and 2000mhz on mem @ 1.075v, stable in OCCT for 1 hour and furmark but when i run unigine i get an error (device app removed).

People seem to get this card stable @ 850mhz on stock volts (1.038v) and I can't get it stable @ 1.1v @ 850mhz to run on unigene.... Otherwise it is stable on every other program....

unigine does work on stock clocks but so far it isnt stable on anything else!

Why do you think this could be?

I'm going to go back to stock until I figure this out.

P.S the card is water cooled max temps after 1 hour OCCT = 41c

put ur mem back down and try again some cards dont like the me being fussed with.

Just tried it, got the same error as well as a pop up message saying driver failed and windows recovered it :S i even folded 1 day with the card at this clock with no issues but heaven seems to be unstable?!:/

I actually have the same issue on my 570. I have tried at stock clock, underclock, overclock. It has worked before but the last few times I always get that error (have updated multiple drivers throughout this time)

failed overclock in hardest benchmark shocker

it really is the hardest benchmark tho, i have had cards pass everything but unigine needs upto 50mhz knocking off before it would run fine.

People have this card stable @ stock volts though at 850mhz :/ strwbs has the same card, I wonder if he had any issues

so?

overclocking is not a science, its a lotto dude and anything extra you get is a bonus.

i bet strawbs can run vantage or 3d 11 or kom or anything on higher clocks than it will pass unigine mate.

Do you think it's best to make a card unigene stable then? And what would you say is the highest vcore I should use on this 570 for a 24/7 OC ? (it has the same 6 + 2 vrms as the 580) 1.15v is the highest in msi AB, do you think it would be safe to push the volts?

it depends what you play tbh dude and how anal you are about "stability" imo

idk what is classed as safe for that card tho but i do know that the max volts in ab is set by the bios of the card so maxing it out shouldnt be an issue as long as its running cool.

Ok thanks dude !

Im now running unigine @ 870mhz on core, 2000mhz on meme @ 1.113v max temp = 41c..... would you say this is safe?

Unigine heaven 3.0 (dx11) results = score 1985 Fps = 79
