Hi Everyone,

Well i'm looking for a graphics card upgrade from my current GTS 450. Well i've been looking at either to get a 570 or when the new graphics cards come down to get dual 7770's in crossfire. These graphics cards will be paired with an Intel core i5 2500k at 4ghz and 4gb of Kingston hyperx ram.

Also i'd be glad to any other advice on what graphics card i could use.

Thanks for any help

That's a tough decision the 570 is an awesome GPU but the 7770's in crossfire is about the same price and I'd say close to the same performance but me personally I would take the 570 because here in the US you can get the MSI Twin Frozr III edition for $320 you can get a pair of 7770's for about that though. But i would say the Twin Frozr III cooler pretty much makes up the temperature difference between the cards and the 7770's and the 570 would probably draw about the same power.

In the end though it's all up to you.

on second thought a pair of 6850's or 6870's might not be too bad

Unless it has 2gb or Vram dont bother. Most game will use that 1gb EASY, if you go the vram usage section on this forum I hit 2gb on crysis 2 easy.

M8 don´t think to much....choose the GTX 570!

I own a gtx 570, its a very good card, every game maxed out @1080p and with the new nvidia beta drivers i'm now getting 60fps in battlefield 3 as opposed to the 45-50fps I was getting before, plus too much husstle with crappy drivers for xfire

Single card, most certainly. If you want you can add a second 570 later and get better performance. With the 7770 that is not an option since you go crossfire from the start.

Like others have said, a single card best just for practical reasons plus it will help with the heat of your case :')

Really good price's for a Gainward Phantom GTX 570 here....

I will probably be going for a GTX 570 then because of the majority of people suggesting that card. Although it only has 1280mb of vram compared to 2gb it would be a fair choice. It wont be for a while until i get the card but at least now i know what i should get ;]

If you can you should try to grab the 2.5gb version of the 570, just remember if you plan to xfire the 570 in the future you need another 2.5gb 570 or your vram will default to the lower between the cards
