GTX 570 bottlenecked?

Hello! First of all compliments for the reviews, the forum, and the OC3D TV! Really very very interesting.

Here I come with my question! At the moment I got a Gainward GTX 460 glh, and I would like to change it with an "EVGA GeForce GTX 570 Superclocked" (yes I've read the OC3D's EVGA GTX570 review, and I have fallen in love with that videocard!). I would like to know if my AMD Phenom II X4 945 is enough to handle a GTX 570, or if I will be bottlenecked.

My pc is in the signature. I play on a full-hd monitor, my motherboard has got only one video card slot, and my psu is an Enermax 525W 82+ (is it enough if a buy a GTX 570, or I should upgrade it?).

I got a stock amd cpu cooler, and I usually keep my Phenom II X4 945 at 3.0 GHz http://3dmark.com/3dm11/428291;jses...m11/428291?key=XApw5rZTnUUQUNKBY2QT09akBXSn9D, but raising the cpu voltage at 1.3625V I have been able to reach 3.4 GHz stable (I would like to avoid to push it more than that) http://3dmark.com/3dm11/436558;jses...m11/436558?key=22TeD3QQEBpe9DVUQp69P9YNfqSEHU (I've tested it a lot at 3.4GHz, and my highest temperature has been 60 degrees with wPrime204). So if I am bottlenecked at 3.0 Ghz, what if I keep it at 3.4 GHz? Or even at 3.4 GHz I will be heavily/slightly bottlenecked?

I'm pretty sure I would use the GTX 570 a lot (I still got metro2033 to play, and watching it on almost every of your video card reviews has increased my desire to play it!), and looking forward to Crysis 2 I think it would be a great improvement, if my system is enough for a GTX 570.

Thanks in advance, and sorry if my post is a bit long!

Should be fine though surprised your not after a gtx 570 glh but anyway

Well I got to say that I bought my gtx 460 glh on August 2010, and it never disappointed me. It has given me great satisfactions.

I was planning an upgrade because of some titles like Metro 2033 and Crysis 2, but after reading the review http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/gpu_displays/evga_gtx570_review/1, I decided to go for the Evga one (the overclocked edition).

The important is that my system is enough for a Gtx 570, because I would like to avoid changing cpu and motherboard for now. I'm still a bit undecided about the psu. I don't know if my Enermax 525W modu 82 + is enough, because I saw that the GTX 570 has got a high power consumption compared to my gtx 460.

I was almost forgetting: thank you for the reply murphy7801
