GTX 570 Aftermarket Cooler

No wonder you're having problems that GPU cooler looks horrible, where as my Asus GeForce GTX 550Ti 1GB GDDR5 GPU cooler is more or less silent and cools wonderfully.

Also what airflow setup do you have in your case, negative or a postive airflow?

As I would highly recommend a positive airflow with that GPU cooler design.

Lol thats because the 550Ti is a low end GPU that doesn't produce alot of heat. Hence the cooler doesn't need to do much work.

I feel your pain lol, the HD is basically the same card. And worse of all it's hard to find a custom cooler for it. I was looking at the Artic Accelero Xtreme (triple 92mm fan) but it requires modding for it.

Just FYI, if it does not say "Nvidia" above the pci it is NOT a reference board. All reference whether it be AMD or Nvidia will say "Nvidia" or "AMD" above the PCI. VERY few times do 3rd party manufacturers put there own label over the Nvidia name over the PCI.

I'm pretty sure since it is the same design as the 570 HD the only difference is the double stacked DVI the mounting holes in the PCB are the same. The only issue is finding something that won't hit the DVI enclosure.

Lol maybe by this year standards but seeing as I can max out BF3 even on my small 17 inch TFT running at a 1280x1024 resolution it does just fine and even overclocking wise with it maxed out at 1.2v with a core clock of 1066 and memory clock of 2155 its still quiet and cool but then again Asus built the thing for overclocking.

And I've found graphics cards with enclosed shrouds surrounding the fan is not always the best way to cool the GPU.

And they're dust magnects where on my current GPU the fan isn't covered by much or any really shroud to speak of and the Zotac 570 cooler as standard from Zotac reminds me of my old 8800 GTS.

The cooling was horrible and it was a right dust magnet but with my current GPU no such issues.

Thought it would be a none reference design :(
Will have to look around, even when the fans are @ 40% i can still hear them

Your GPU is nowhere near as power hungry as mine, which is why it runs cooler.
Is like comparing a 8400gs with a 8800gtx
I have positive case pressure too mate
