GTX 480 foam strip

hi,

I have a POV GTX 480 and I should recieve an EVGA backplate soon for it. The card has a foam strip, it cover some stuff, i don't know the reason for its existance. EVGA says to remove it to fit the backplate. There is a few months warranty left on the card. If it becomes a problem what should i use to re-apply the foam strip?

i thought it'd look like thats my card, sorry, its a reference.

if the card becomes faulty i'll use the warranty. first i'd take off the backplate and should re-apply the foam strip. what should i use to re-apply the foam strip. its a glue. it looks like Pritt Stick

we have the plate, UPS delivered it and it came from the Netherlands. It shipped last Friday. fitted it fine

the strip is removed
