Hello, i have a gtx470 SOC , when i bought it about 6 months ago i had a problem, i use msi afterburner for overclocking and custom fan profiles, i also have gigabyte OC guru just for controlling power phase led"s, when i bought it i had a problem that sometimes my fan control inverted itself, so if it is running at 100% fans would stop, and if it was at 0% fans fans would go up to full speed, so considering minimum speed is 30% if i set it to 30 they are gonna spin around 70%, now that happens suddendly, i"m gaming and my fans go down to 30% because fan control is at 70, then card warms up, fan control goes up to 100 but fans stop, i remember i solved that problem but now i reinstalled windows because i bought an ssd and problem is back, i don"t remember the solution, i do know that it was some kind of software conflict, probably between oc guru and afterburner, but i have disabled oc guru from doing anything, i mean when i solved that problem 6 months ago i suceeded to make oc guru and afterburner work at the same time and i haven"t had the problem, i just don"t remember what did i do, windows are fresh so there is no parts of old drivers remaining, that is not the problem, i also found this subject http://www.overclock.net/t/752960/gtx470-fan-control-inverted-s , guy had exactley the same problem but no one solved it, and yeah, settings in nvidia control pannel are default.
