I read a little about the release of a new GTX 460 card with dual GPU 460's and 2 GB of ram (GTX 460 2WIN). I have to wonder what Nvidia was thinking? With the "Single Fastest Video Card" crown going to AMD with the release of the AMD 6990. Did they have a ton of left overs or are they trying to divert attention away from the fact their new monster card GTX 590 hasn't seen the light of day? Maybe they're having heating problems and are using smoke and mirrors to avoid the problems that AMD is having with their new flagship.
So what do you guys think? IS there room for a dual GPU card that doesn't perform much better than the GTX 580?
Inquiring minds want to know ......
